We have a few updates heading into this weekend--you'll find details for our regular weekly meeting below, as well as opportunities to support election security with others committed to non-harm.
SUNDAY COMMUNITY PRACTICE
Our next weekly practice session is this Sunday, 11/8, from 10 - 11am. Join us by registering here. Jean will be leading us this week.
NON-VIOLENT RESPONSE TO ELECTION EVENTS
There are two opportunities to engage this weekend with the Inter-sangha Non-violent Direct Action Group, a coalition of Twin Cities Buddhist communities organizing to respond to the election unrest.
On Saturday, 11/7, at 12pm a large cross-section of organizations will be assembling to advocate for all votes to be counted and the outcome to be respected. You can find more details here.
Alex M from Minneapolis Insight will be in attendance (along with leaders and members from across sanghas)--you can contact him directly for more information or to meet up. See the link above for contact information.
On Sunday, 11/8 from 4pm-6pm the inter-sangha community will continue the discussion of the on-going non-violent response to post-election events and to support our shared commitment to non-harming. We will review what we know now and what we can expect in the future and our response to date. All are welcome. Zoom link here.
If there are any notable updates to this weekend's events we will send a follow-up email.
In peace and solidarity,
- Minneapolis Insight
